Langoussis, USA have reported on IAUC 7879 that they have recorded a possible supernova of magnitude 18.4 on Apr 16.14UT in an anonymous galaxy using a 0.35-m telescope. The new object is at: RA 11h 14m 31.72s DEC +33 48' 18.3" (2000), 4.5"W and 3.0"S of the nucleus. V4741 SAGITTARII (=POSSIBLE NOVA IN SAGITTARIUS) Bill Liller, Chile has reported that a spectrum of this object, announced on TA E-Circular 1766, was obtained on Apr 16.4UT. The low-dispersion objective prism spectrogram shows narrow H-alpha in emission. N. N. Samus, Institute of Astronomy, MOSCOW advise that the designation of this object is now V4741 Sagittarii. SUPERNOVA 2002ci IN UGC 10301 A further LOTOSS discovery of a possible supernova has been reported on IAUC 7881. The object was first recorded on a KAIT image of Apr 19.5UT at magnitude 17.2 and located at: RA 16h 15m 37.95s DEC +31 19' 17.4" (2000), 2.0"E and 0.1"N of the nucleus of UGC 10301. SUPERNOVA 2002cj IN ESO 582-G5 A further LOTOSS discovery of a possible supernova has been reported on IAUC 7882, this time in ESO 582-G5. The first KAIT image was on Apr 21.5UT at about magnitude 16. The position is: RA 15h 21m 20.71s DEC -19 51' 27.3" (2000). This places the object 1.4"W and 3.9"S of the nucleus. Guy M Hurst
