Using a Celestron 8, he estimated it at magnitude 12.2 on May 2.933UT using a forthcoming ICWG standard sequence. Gary Poyner also noted it bright on May 2.947UT, his estimate giving magnitude 12.4v with a 0.22-m refl. (AAVSO sequence). SUPERNOVA 2002ck IN UGC 10030 A further LOTOSS discovery of a possible supernova has been reported on IAUC 7884. The first image with KAIT was on Apr. 23.4UT when the supernova was estimated at about magnitude 16.8. The position is: RA 15h 47m 00.75s DEC -00 59' 25.5" (2000), placing it 5.0"E and 18.0"S of the centre of UGC 10030. Guy M Hurst
