The following visual observations have been reported: 2002 June 27.969UT, 14.8 (Chris Jones, 0.46-m reflector) 27.981 , 14.6 (Jones) 28.006 , 14.7 (Gary Poyner, 0.46-m reflector) SUPERNOVA 2002dp IN NGC 7678 A. Klotz, Guitalens, France has reported the detection of a possible bright supernova in NGC 7678. According to IAUC 7924, a CCD image of June 18.09UT recorded it at about magnitude 15.1. W. Li has measured its position from a KAIT image of June 19.5UT as: RA 23h 28m 30.12s DEC +22 25' 38.8" (2000). Offsets are 30.8"E and 21.7"N of the galaxy's nucleus. SUPERNOVA 2002dq In NGC 7051 A further LOTOSS discovery of a possible supernova, this time in NGC 7051, was detailed on IAUC 7924. A KAIT image of June 18.5 showed the object at about magnitude 17.0 and located at: RA 21h 19m 49.95s DEC -08 46' 39.8" (2000). The offsets from the centre of the galaxy are: 20.4"W and 19.0"N.
