SUPERNOVA 2002dr IN UGC 12214 A report by the LOTOSS team of their detection of a possible supernova in UGC 12214 has appeared on IAUC 7927. The magnitude 17 object was first recorded on KAIT images of June 24.5UT at: RA 22h 51m 01.00s DEC +31 22' 23.0" (2000) with offsets from the centre being 0.5"W and 7.1"S. SUPERNOVA 2002ds IN ESO 581-G25 A further LOTOSS report appeared on IAUC 7928. This related to the detection of another possible supernova, this time in ESO 581-G25. The magnitude 15.9 object was first noted on June 25.3UT at: RA 15h 13m 35.73s DEC -20 40' 38.5" (2000). The offsets from the galaxy's centre are given as 67.5"E and 7.2"S. Guy M Hurst
