Further to CSN 111 issued on Sept 25 gold subscribers are reminded the chart can be accessed via your passwords on the chart pages of the TA WWW site. V4743 SAGITTARII As reported on CSN 112 issued on Sept 25, the object found by Haseda has been designated V4743 Sagittarii by N. N. Samus of the Institute of Astronomy at Moscow. Again, a TA chart is available on the WWW site for access by our gold subscribers. SUPERNOVAE 2002fc, 2002fd, 2002fe, 2002fg, 2002fh The above discoveries have been announced on IAUC 7971 by N. Yasuda of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan. They were found between 2002 April 9 and May 9 in anonymous galaxies and all are below magnitude 20. SUPERNOVA 2002fi In MCG -04-7-10 A further LOTOSS supernova discovery has been noted on IAUC 7972. First detection was on 2002 Sept 13.4 at magnitude 18.5 at: RA 02h 33m 54.40s DEC -21 02' 29.4" (2000), 19.4"W and 6.7"N of the nucleus of MCG -04-7-10. SUPERNOVA 2002fj In NGC 2642 Berto Monard, Pretoria, South Africa, has reported his discovery of a magnitude 15.8 apparent supernova in NGC 2642 on Sept 12.1UT. The unfiltered CCD image was obtained with a 0.30-m reflector. The object is offset from the nucleus, 12"E and 21.5"S at: RA 08h 40m 45.1s DEC -04 07' 38.5" (2000). SUPERNOVA 2002fk IN NGC 1309 IAUC 79763 carries details of independent discoveries of a supernova in NGC 1309 from R. Kushida, Yatsugatake South Base Observatory and from J. Wang and Y. L. Qui for Beijing Astronomical Observatory. A Kushida image of Sept 17.719UT yielded the following position: RA 03h 22m 05.71s DEC -15 24' 03.2" (2000). Offsets are 12"W and 3.5"S of the centre of the galaxy. SUPERNOVAE 2002fl, 2002fm, 2002fn, 2002fo, 2002fp, 2002fq, 2002fr The above supernova discoveries were announced on IAUC 7977 by the Supernova Cosmology Project and were detected using the Canada- France-Hawaii Telescope between 2002 Mar 16 and Apr 12. All are fainter than magnitude 20. SUPERNOVAE 2002fs, 2002ft, 2002fu W. M. Wood-Vasey et.al., report on IAUC 7979 the discovery of three supernovae on Palomar NEAT images. SN 2002fs, of magnitude 20.1, was found on Sept 3.26UT at: RA 22h 54m 00.88s DEC +14 39' 24.5" (2000), 2.5"E of the nucleus. SN 2002ft of magnitude 18.9 was found on Sept 9.39UT at: RA 23h 15m 45.82s DEC -16 55' 35.2", 1"E and 2"S. SN 2002fu, of magnitude 19.4, was found on Sept 10.21UT at: RA 22h 09m 55.99s DEC +12 05' 06.6" (2000), 5"W and 1"N. Guy M Hurst
