Despite the large scatter, reports have been received from other variable star groups suggesting the star is more active than usual and, coupled with spectral analysis from professional astronomers, it does seem appropriate to monitor this star closely. SUPERNOVA 2003M IN UGC 7224 B. Swift and W. Li of the LOTOSS team have reported their detection of a possible supernova in UGC 7224 on 2003 Jan 13.5UT at magnitude 17.3. The position measured for the new object is: RA 12h 13m 21.00s DEC +21 38' 48.4" (2000), 38.2"E and 44.1"N of the nucleus. Guy M Hurst
