It was recorded on multiple images but on a single night. The location of the new object is: RA 17h 22m 45s.66 DEC +62 09' 50".4 (2000), which is approximately 12".7 E and 7".3 S of the centre of NGC 6365A. The new object was not present on Tom's images of 2002 Sep 10 (limiting mag 19.0), Aug. 15, or Jul. 26, and it is not present on Palomar Sky Survey red (1993) and blue (1989) plates. Tom Boles obtained a confirmation image on Jan 28.069UT Subsequently an announcement appeared on IAUC 8059 in which the object was designated Supernova 2003U. Our congratulations to Tom on this further discovery. SUPERNOVA 2003Q IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY D. Pozanski et.al., Tel Aviv University have reported detection of a possible supernova in images of the NOAO Deep Wide Field Survey on Jan 2 at: RA 02h 05m 47.55s DEC -04 52' 48.0" (2000) Mag 20 (IAUC 8058) SUPERNOVA 2003R IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY Pozanski also reports on IAUC 8058 a further supernova detected on Jan 2 at: RA 02h 05m 11.27s DEC -04 42' 30.0" (2000) mag 22 SUPERNOVA 2003S IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY M. Papenkova and W. Li report a LOTOSS detection of a supernova on 2003 Jan 24.6UT at: RA 13h 41m 19.49s DEC +55 40' 36.5" (2000) The magnitude 18.0 object is, according to IAUC 8058, 1.1"W and 3.3"S of the parent galaxy's nucleus. SUPERNOVA 2003T IN UGC 4864 A further LOTOSS detection of a supernova, this time by Michael Schwartz and W. Li (Tenagra II), is noted on IAUC 8058. This magnitude 18.1 object was recorded on 2003 Jan 25.4UT at: RA 09h 14m 11.06s DEC +16 44' 48.0" (2000), 25.0"W and 14.9"N of the centre of UGC 4864. Guy M Hurst
