YY HERCULIS
Elizabeth Waagen, AAVSO, has informed us that they have received a
report of a rare outburst of 1810+20 YY Herculis, rising from
magnitude 12.8 to around 11.8. Elizabeth notes that the last
recorded outburst was as long ago as 1993. She adds that 'b' and
'e' scale AAVSO charts are available on their website
(http://charts.aavso.org/).

Subsequently Gary Poyner, Birmingham, has confirmed the outburst as
follows:
Mar 01.108  C+2     mv=12.0  (BAA seq)      22cm reflector
            122+2   mv=12.0  (AAVSO seq)
