The new object is located at: RA 14h 58m 35.53s DEC +44 53' 06.4" (2000) which is approximately 4.7" west and 5.0" north of the centre of UGC9639. The suspect is not present on Tom's images from Feb. 24 (limiting mag 19.0), Feb 02 and Jan 05 and it is not present on Palomar Sky Survey II, red plates (1994.428) and blue plates (1994.289). The object was subsequently designated Supernova 2003cr and announced on IAUC 8103. Congratulations to Tom on his 42nd supernova discovery. SUPERNOVA 2003cs IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY W. M. Wood-Vasey reports discovery of a possible supernova of magnitude 17.9 on NEAT images of 2003 Feb 3.49UT at: RA 11h 20m 37.52s DEC -04 54' 32.7" (2000), 0.3"W and 5.7"N of the nucleus of the host galaxy according to IAUC 8103. SUPERNOVA 2003ct IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY A further NEAT supernova discovery has also been announced on IAUC 8103, this time at: RA 11h 22m 56.20s DEC -02 56' 59.9" (2000). This candidate is of magnitude 19.0 and 12.5"E and 2.9"S of the centre of an anonymous galaxy. SUPERNOVAE 2003cu, 2003cv, 2003cw Three further NEAT supernova candidates were announced on IAUC 8104: 2003cu Mar 27.14 RA 10h 53m 02.66s DEC -00 41' 03.9" (2000) Magnitude 19.9, offsets 6.1"W and 3.6"N. This object was absent from an image of 2002 Apr 5.14UT to a limit of magnitude 21.1. 2003cv Mar 31.13 RA 11h 17m 48.36s DEC +19 09' 08.5" (2000) Magnitude 17.6, offsets 0.6"W and 2.8"N. This object was not recorded to a limit of 21.0 on an image of 2002 Apr 1.33UT. 2003cw Mar 31.13 RA 11h 24m 03.88s DEC +23 20' 44.8" (2000) Magnitude 20.1, offsets 0.1"W and 10.0"N. This object was absent from an exposure of March 8.46UT to a limiting magnitude of 20.9. CORRECTION The date of E-Circular 1871 should read April 7 and not Mar 7. Guy M Hurst
