Graham and W. Li reported a magnitude 16.5 variable object on IAUC 8153. It was initially recorded on 2003 June 17.4UT at: RA 17h 06m 06.12s DEC +25 51' 53.3" (2000). This places the variable 51.5"E and 79.9"S from the centre of the galaxy UGC 10700. A KAIT image of June 11.4UT does not show it to a limit of magnitude 19.5. Spectroscopic research by Filippenko and Chornock indicates that this object is a Galactic cataclysmic variable. We would welcome new images of this field for analysis and any archival shots of this galaxy: editor SUPERNOVAE 2003fl, 2003fm, 2003fn, 2003fo, 2003fp, 2003fq Further faint supernovae have been reported by the CFHT Legacy Survey team (TA E-Circular 1892). The magnitudes are 21 or fainter according to IAUC 8148. SUPERNOVAE 2003fr-2003gb The CFHT Legacy Survey team have also reported further finds on IAUC 8149 as detailed above. All relate to objects of magnitude 23 or fainter. SUPERNOVA 2003gc IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY W. M. Wood-Vasey et. al., have reported detection of a magnitude 18.0 supernova on NEAT images of 2003 March 27.14UT at: RA 10h 54m 22.26s DEC -06 15' 48.9" (2000), 1.0"E and 0.4"N of the centre of an anonymous galaxy according to IAUC 8150.
