Fiaschi et. al., have reported the detection of two novae on H- alpha CCD images. The first is located at: RA 00h 42m 58.34s DEC +41 16' 07.8" (2000) 158"E and 1"S of the centre of Messier 31. The H-alpha magnitude on June 19.03UT was 16.5. The second object's location is: RA 00h 42m 52.22s DEC +41 13' 54.2 (2000), 89"E and 134"S of the centre of Messier 31. The H-alpha magnitude was 15.6 on June 19.03UT. Further details on both objects appeared on IAUC 8155. SUPERNOVA 2003ge IN NGC 6122 IAUC 8154 carries news that Tim Puckett and A. Langoussis of the USA have found a magnitude 17.8 possible supernova on an image of 2003 June 21.19UT. The object is located at: RA 16h 20m 08.75s DEC +37 47' 53.7" (2000) with offsets of 8.8"W and 0.1"N of the nucleus of the galaxy NGC 6122. Tom Matheson, on IAUC 8155, has reported that a spectrum by P. Berlind secured on June 24.23UT shows it to be of type-Ia, about two weeks after maximum. Guy M Hurst
