NOVA IN MESSIER 31 K. Hornoch, Czech Republic, has reported on IAUC 8157 that an apparent nova has been found in M31 and located at: RA 00h 43m 36.17s DEC +41 16' 39.4" (2000). This places the object 583"E and 30"N of the nucleus. On 2003 June 25.01, the magnitude was R=17.3 but it had brightened to 16.4 by June 26.02. SUPERNOVA 2003gg IN IC 1321 A further LOTOSS supernova discovery appears on IAUC 8158. This object, of magnitude 18.5, was noted on KAIT images of 2003 June 27.4UT at: RA 20h 28m 10.68s DEC -18 17' 32.4" (2000), 5.8"W and 2.9"S of the centre of IC 1321. SUPERNOVA 2003gh IN NGC 2466 Berto Monard, South Africa, advises that a possible supernova of magnitude 15.7 has been recorded on CCD images of June 29.737UT at: RA 07h 45m 17.93s DEC -71 24' 37.3" (2000). This is 6"W and 0.5"S of the centre of NGC 2466. The object was subsequently designated SN 2003gh on IAUC 8159. Guy M Hurst
