PLANETARY COLUMN
You will see in the November issue of 'The Astronomer', which is
being despatched today, that there is an announcement in the
editorial section commenting on the absence of the Planetary
Column.

Mark Kidger rang me yesterday from Tenerife offering apologies to
all those contributing to his column whose results are missing from
TA.

This is due to Mark suffering a lengthy and severe bout of the 'flu
which has prevented him preparing the column or accessing his e-
mails. He is now back at the observatory, initially part time, and
should be fully recovered by the time the column is needed for the
December issue.

Please therefore send your contributions in respect of November
observations to reach Mark by December 5 at the latest.

SUPERNOVA 2003jc IN MCG -01-58-18
This LOTOSS/KAIT supernova was reported on IAUC 8232:
SN       2003 UT        R.A.  (2000.0)  Decl.   Mag.     Offset
2003jc   Oct. 24.2    23 04 53.34  - 6 32 12.1  17.0 20.2"W, 6.6"N

SUPERNOVA 2003jd IN MCG -01-59-21
This LOTOSS/KAIT supernova was also reported on IAUC 8232:
SN       2003 UT        R.A.  (2000.0)  Decl.   Mag.     Offset
2003jd   Oct. 25.2    23 21 03.38  - 4 53 45.5  16.1  8.3"E, 7.7"S

SUPERNOVA 2003je in NGC 2668
This LOTOSS/KAIT supernova was also reported on IAUC 8232:
