Fortunately no messages, to our knowledge, have been totally lost. We regret the delay in announcing some of the news including Tom's discovery of Supernova 2003jf but hope to clear the backlog in the near future. SUPERNOVA 2003jf IN MCG +11-22-9 Tom Boles of Coddenham reported his discovery of a possible magnitude 18.4 supernova on unfiltered CCD images obtained on 2003 October 26.785UT and 27.750UT. It is located at: RA 17h 53m 33.45s DEC +64o 10' 12.1" (2000), 4.0"E, 11.1"S of the centre of MCG +11-22-9. It was not present on Tom's images of Sept. 13, 25, and Oct. 16 (limiting mag 19.5) nor on Palomar Sky Survey red or blue plates. The object was designated SN 2003jf on IAUC 8233. We offer congratulations to Tom on the discovery of his 57th supernova. Guy M Hurst
