Offsets are 5.6" W and 15.5" S. Nothing is visible on Mark's images of 2003 Aug 3, Oct 16 and Nov 5 and it is also not recorded on POSS images. The object was designated Supernova 2003kg on IAUC 8245 (which initially did not reach us until a repeat request was made). Congratulations to Mark on the discovery of his 51st supernova. SUPERNOVA 2003kf IN MCG -02-16-2 A LOSS/KAIT supernova discovery has been reported on IAUC 8245, this time in the galaxy MCG -02-16-2 SN 2003 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag.
