CHRISTMAS GREETINGS
I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of myself and all 
members of the TA Editorial team to wish you a very happy Christmas. I 
am also sure we can all look forward to an exciting 2004 and, as in the 
past year, we can expect further successes from the combined efforts of 
the TA observers.

We hope to issue the traditional annual Christmas quiz some time during 
December 26.

SUPERNOVA 2003kw In UGC 6314
Tom Matheson and P. Kirschner et. al., have reported details of a 
spectrum of supernova 2003kw (found by Mark Armstrong see TA E-Circular 
1951) according to IAUC 8258.

The spectrum, obtained by M. Calkins on 2003 Dec 17.46UT with the 
Whipple 1.5-m telescope shows it to be of type-II.

SUPERNOVA 2003kx IN UGC 4078
Tom Matheson also reports on the above IAUC that a spectrum of this 
object (also found by Mark Armstrong see TA E-Circular 1952) was 
obtained on Dec 17.50UT showing it also to be of type-II.
