Peter estimates component A as of m2=18.8, coma diameter 9", tail 20" in PA290. He also indicates component B was of m2=19.2, diameter 6", tail 10" in PA290. These results were obtained with a 0.30-m f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain + CCD. The comet has been shown by Brian Marsden to be linked to an asteroid, 2003 YM_159 found by LINEAR. Since the publication of Peter's image on the front cover of 'The Astronomer' Vol 41 No 487 [2004}, this comet has been renamed since the Central Bureau now understand it was not a discovery by the Catalina Sky Survey team but by Rik Hill acting alone. S/2004 S 5 Astronomers at the Space Science Institute and the Cassini Imaging Science Team have reported their discovery of a satellite of the planet Saturn which has received a provisional designation of S/2004 S5 on IAUC 8432. It was recorded on October 21 in a series of images spanning three hours and orbits in the region of Saturn III (and Thethys) and Saturn IV (Dione). Detailed orbital statistics have not yet been established. SUPERNOVA 2004fv IN NGC 6492 Discovery by Monard of South Africa of a possible supernova (IAUC 8430): SN 2004 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag.
