The result is that now the error is smaller but equal to earth's diameter, the 1 meter telescope is too small to give good astrometry with this kind of object. The shadow is at about 3 Earth diameter. The asteroid has two components so the probability of an occultation by one of the two components is not zero. The most important consideration now is for observers to note that the occultations will occur 30 minutes later. The latest prediction is for tomorrow morning, 2005 February 11 at 00h 47mUT. The star is of mag 11.7 (position as in E2083). The maximum duration is 5.6 seconds with a magnitude drop of 11 mags. The asteroid is of magnitude 22.7, diameter 138km. It would be wise to commence observations much earlier than the predicted time as several uncertainties exist. Guy M Hurst
