Micheli and P. Jenniskens of a link between 2003 WY25 and the lost comet D/1819 W1 = 1819 IV, have been confirmed by Brian Marsden. This comet had itself been proposed by Harold Ridley (BAA Circular 382) as linked to the Phoenicid meteor shower of 1956. Orbital solutions have been given on IAUC 8485. DO DRACONIS Patrick Schmeer, Bischmisheim, Germany, has reported an outburst of DO Draconis. On 2005 March 12.823, the estimated magnitude was 11.5. Eddie Muyllaert, Ostend, Belgium has confirmed the outburst on Dec 12.8764UT at visual magnitude 11.4. Gary Poyner, Birmingham, England, reports an additional observation on March 13.014UT at visual magnitude 11.2. He adds that the last outburst of this Intermediate Polar occurred on 2004 Jan 23. DO Dra has recently been dropped from the Recurrent Objects Programme - details in the forthcoming BAAVSS Circular - but will obviously remain on the BAAVSS telescopic programme for continued monitoring. Foley et. al., University of California, Berkeley, have reported on IAUC 8482 that a spectrum of this object found by Tom Boles (see E-Circular 2088), which was obtained on Feb 11, with Keck II shows it to be of type IIn. 2005 AB V. Reddy, Department of Space Studies, University of North Dakota, Grand Forks; R. Dyvig, Quinn, SD; and P. Pravec and P. Kusnirak, Ondrejov Observatory, report on IAUC 8483 that photometric observations obtained during Feb. 1-8 show that the Amor-type minor planet 2005 AB is a binary system with orbital period 17.9 hr. The primary rotates with a period of 3.337 hr, and its light curve amplitude of 0.04 mag is indicative of a nearly spheroidal shape. Guy M Hurst
