There is a USNO-A1 star of red magnitude 18.4 at end figures: RA 48.233s DEC 07.21" (2000) Berto Monard, South Africa, reports a precise position for June 9.87UT of: RA 16h 00m 47.43s DEC -48 46' 07.6" (2000) SUPERNOVA 2005cg IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY Discovery by ROTSE of a possible supernova (IAUC 8537): SN 2005 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. Offset 2005cg Jun 2.04 21 10 50.42 +00 12 07.4 18.2 0.7"N, 0.4"W Found by 0.45-m ROTSE-IIIc telescope at 'High-Energy Stereoscopic Systems' site in Namibia. On June 3.03UT the supernova brightened to 17.7. SUPERNOVA 2005ch IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY Discovery by ROTSE of a possible supernova (IAUC 8539): SN 2005 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl. Mag. The Catalina Sky Survey team reported on IAUC 8540 that there is a pre-discovery image of this object obtained on May 31.27-31.29UT when V=17.3-17.4. Guy M Hurst
