BBC FOUR: STAR MEN 2005 AUGUST 6
A further letter from Kristin Ernst received this morning, mentions that 
the 'Star Men' programme to be shown tomorrow, Saturday, 2005 August 6, 
has been re-scheduled to start on BBC FOUR at 10pm and not as stated in 
E-Circular 2132. Given many astronomers absence at the BAAVSS meeting at 
Sussex tomorrow please be careful over video settings.

Discovery by LOSS of a possible supernova (IAUC 8563):

SUPERNOVA 2005cs IN M51
Further to the note on E2131, W. Li et. al., report on IAUC 8565: "New 
images from the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) onboard the Hubble 
Space Telescope on July 11.50 UT, confirm our previous identification of 
the progenitor of the type-II SN 2005cs.  When the new HRC/F250W images 
are geometrically transformed to the pre-supernova WFC/F814W images, the 
SN 2005cs position is consistent with our identified progenitor to 
within 0.1 ACS pixel (0".005)."

Discovery by Taiwan Supernova Survey of a possible supernova (IAUC
