SUPERNOVA 2005ej IN CGCG 323-004
A spectrogram of this object discovered by Tom Boles (cf TA E-Circulars 
2156, 2157) has been obtained by N. Martimbeau with the F. L. Whipple 
Observatory 1.5-m telescope on 2005 September 25.15UT. It shows it to be 
a type-Ia supernova with a spectral-feature age of about 4 (+/- 2) days 
after maximum light; the
supernova expansion velocity, derived from the minimum of Si II (rest 
635.5 nm), and adopting the NED recession velocity of 11354 km/s for the 
host galaxy (from Falco et al. 1999, PASP 111, 438), is about 10000 km/s 
according to CBET 234.

SUPERNOVAE 2005ed, 2005ef, 2005eg, 2005eh, 2005ei
Supernovae with designations: 2005ed and 2005ef-2005ei have been 
discovered during the Sloan Digital Sky Survey II collaboration.
The discovery images were taken on 2005 Sept 9 with the SDSS 2.5-m 
telescope at Apache Point. The following selected information appeared
