SATELLITES OF URANUS
Brian Marsden advises via CBET 323 that the IAU Working Group for 
Planetary System Nomenclature has approved the following new 
designations and names of satellites of Uranus:
     Uranus XXII     Francisco   = S/2001 U 3
     Uranus XXIII    Margaret    = S/2003 U 3
     Uranus XXIV     Ferdinand   = S/2001 U 2
     Uranus XXV      Perdita     = S/1986 U 10
     Uranus XXVI     Mab         = S/2003 U 1
     Uranus XXVII    Cupid       = S/2003 U 2

SUPERNOVA 2005ls IN MCG +07-7-1
M. Modjaz et. al., Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, report 
on CBET 324 that a spectrum of supernova 2005ls (found by Mark Armstrong 
and reported on TA E-Circular 2179), obtained on Dec. 21.21 UT by M. 
Calkins with the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope shows it to 
be a type-Ia supernova, with a spectral-feature age of about 8 (+/- 2) 
days after maximum light.

SUPERNOVA 2005ly IN UGC 934
Discovery by T. Puckett and G. Sostero of a possible supernova (CBET 
325):
SN      2005 UT      R.A.  (2000.0)  Decl.    Mag.     Offset
2005ly  Dec. 21.12  01 23 28.84  +30 46 45.7  18.6   5.4"E, 18.2"S
SN 2003lc also appeared in UGC 934 (cf. IAUC 8260).
