First detection was on 2006 Nov 26.068UT by reference to an unfiltered CCD image obtained with a 0.35-m Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. The measured position is: RA 07h 35m 37.42s DEC +66 24' 49.9" (2000), which is approximately 7.9" west and 5.3" south of the centre of host galaxy. The suspect is not present on Tom's images of 2005 Nov 3 and 2006 Jan 2 (limiting magnitude 19.5) and also not present on DSS II red (1989-12-23 limiting mag 20.5) nor blue plates (1997-03-09 limiting mag 21.0) In a later e-mail also of November 26, Tom Boles reported that he had obtained a confirmatory image on Nov 26.902UT with the magnitude somewhat fainter at 18.0. The end figures were: RA 37.46s DEC 50.0" (2000). Although it has not yet been announced on an IAU Circular, a preliminary note appeared on CBET 759. This is the 104th supernova found by Tom for which we offer many congratulations. Guy M Hurst
