Khandrika and W. Li report on CBET 980 the discovery of an apparent supernova on unfiltered KAIT images taken on June 13.20 (at mag 17.7) and 14.18 UT (mag 17.8). The new object is located at at RA 12h 42m 12.72s DEC-17 24' 07.7" (2000), 3.8"E and 5.5"N of the nucleus of IC 807. MESSIER 31 NOVA CANDIDATE E. Ovcharov (SU, Sofia) et. al., report on The Astronomer's Telegram 1112 the discovery of an apparent nova located at: RA 00h 41m 58.33s DEC +41 14'10.6" (2000), which is 518.5" west and 117.9" south of the centre of Messier 31. Available R-band magnitudes from 3x300s CCD images taken with the 50/70cm Schmidt telescope at NAO Rozhen, Bulgaria: June 14.022, 19.1; 15.012, 18.9. The nearest variable is M31 V0708 (GCVS4.2, 2004) at distance 3.52". Guy M Hurst
