Buzzi and F. Luppi, Varese, Italy, report the recovery of comet P/1998 U2 on IAUC 8859, being slightly diffuse on CCD images obtained with a 0.60-m reflector, with confirming CCD images by Peter Birtwhistle (Great Shefford, Berkshire, U.K., 0.40-m reflector). 2007 UT R.A. SUPERNOVAE 2007gc AND 2007gd Further supernova discoveries reported by The "Nearby Supernova Factory" collaboration have been announced on The Astronomer's Telegram 1150 and designations added on CBET 1011. These were recorded on images obtained on July 18 UT using the QUEST-II camera on the Palomar Oschin 1.2-m Schmidt telescope, operated by the Palomar-QUEST Consortium. The R-band discovery magnitudes and astrometry were derived from comparison with the USNO-B1.0 catalogue. The following table summarizes the discovery information: SN 2007 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl.
