David Branchett, Florida, USA reports a visual estimate: 2007 Dec 27.984, 7.5v (8x56B) Martin Nicholson, Daventry, England reports that on 2007 Dec 27 at 01:45:03UT he managed to image this object from New Mexico using a remote telescope facility from which the V band measure was 7.6. Bjorn H. Granslo, Blindern, Oslo, Norway reports that the field of the nova was imaged on Dec 25.720UT on two 15 sec-exposures using Canon EOS 400D (at ISO 800) and a 17-55mm zoom lens set at f=17mm f/4. The comparison star 'B' (HD 187751, V = 7.17) was visible on both images, the nova and comparison star 'C' (HD 187958, V = 7.81) were not detected: 20071225.720 <7.2C Bjorn further reports a visual magnitude estimate made on Dec 29.762UT at 7.8v using a 0.07-m reflector x24 and the NAS sequence.
