K. Lynch, R. W. Russell, and R. J. Rudy, The Aerospace Corporation; and C. E. Woodward, University of Minnesota, report on IAUC 8955, 0.8- to 5.5-micron spectroscopy of V2467 Cyg on 2008 June 15 UT using SpeX on the Infrared Telescope Facility. The nova has persisted in a very high state of excitation, and its spectrum is dominated by coronal lines. The [Mg VIII] line at 3.03 microns is the brightest feature in the infrared spectrum, and lines from four separate ionization states of silicon are present ([Si VI], [Si VII], [Si IX], [Si X]). The thermal infrared continuum remains free of dust emission. SUPERNOVA 2008dc IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY Discovery by the Catalina Survey of a possible supernova (CBET 1409): SN 2008 UT R.A. (2000.0) Decl.
