THE ASTRONOMER ANNUAL MEETING 2008 OCTOBER 10-11
Further to TA E-Circulars 2452, 2463 and 2466, those wishing to attend 
this year's Annual Meeting of The Astronomer at Norman Lockyer 
Observatory, near Sidmouth are reminded that the discount on the 
admission price finishes at the end of August.

Bookings received by the end of August are: admission £8.50 and lunch 
£7.50. From September 1, admission is £9.50 and lunch remains at £7.50 
but please remember there is a final deadline for lunches of September 
30.

John Murrell, who recently visited the Norman Lockyer Observatory 
reports: "If anyone is looking for a hotel the place Paul Harper and I 
stayed at The Home Farm Hotel at Wilmington outside Honiton has plenty 
of rooms at present. It is quite a quick journey to the NLO as you can 
avoid the road into and out of Sidmouth with all the hills and 
restrictions."
