POSSIBLE NEW VARIABLE IN PEGASUS
Itagaki-san reports via VSNET a possible new variable star in Pegasus 
at:
RA 21h 37m 01.84s DEC +7 14' 46.2" (2000)
On 2008 Oct 13.375 it was fainter than 14.5 (CCD unfiltered) but on Nov 
6.460, recorded at 13.0 unfiltered.
There is an USNOB1 entry: B1=18.01, R1=16.39, B2=19.40, R2=16.85, 
I=17.88GSC2.3 jmag=19.55, Vmag=18.74, Fmag=18.57, Nmag=18.74 2MASS 
J=16.506, H=15.758, K=15.304
Atsushi Miyashita, Seikei High School, confirms the object on CCD images 
taken around Nov. 7.37 UT with a 0.15-m telescope.

Discovery by the CHASE project of a possible supernova (CBET 1545):

2008gl  Oct. 20.15  01 20 54.82  +04 48 19.1  16.3    19.7"E,13.7"N
J. L. Prieto, Ohio State University, reports that optical spectra 
obtained with the Hiltner 2.4-m telescope on Oct. 22.3 UT shows it to be 
a normal type-Ia supenova around maximum light.
