Discovery F. Ciabattari et. al., Italy of a possible supernova (CBET 
2294):

D. Young, et. al., Queens University and others report that a spectrum 
obtained at the William Herschel Telescope on June 8.98UT, show it to be 
a type-Ia supernova at two months after explosion.
