Subsquently Tim Parson, Minnesota, USA reported an outburst on 2010 Nov 2.43UT at visual magnitude 12.9 and the brightening was confirmed by Pavol Dubovsky of Slovakia at magnitude 12.4 on Nov 2.8UT. According to the AAVSO, the last confirmed well-observed outburst of this star occurred on 2008 January 10. Both visual and CCD observations are encouraged, and CCD time-series data are particularly encouraged if possible. HT Cas is classified as a UGSU-type dwarf nova with eclipses, having an orbital period of approximately 0.0736 days (106 minutes). It is located at: RA: 01 10 12.96 , Dec: +60 04 36.3 (2000). Partly sourced from: AAVSO Special Notice 221. VSNET add: Enrique de Miguel has reported the subsequent part of the light curve. As already reported, the object faded more rapidly when de Miguel observed. The hump-like feature seems to be present, as the orbital hump and this signature make double-wave modulations. The nature of these modulations should await further observations. Guy M Hurst
