Yusa, Japan, reports his discovery on CBET 2595 of an apparent nova of magnitude 16.6 in Messier 33 on multiple frames of 2010 Dec 17.42UT using a 0.30-m f/7 Cassegrain telescope +CCD. The new object is located at: RA 01h 34m 17.98s DEC +30d 43' 58'.3 (2000), 350"E and 261"N of the centre of the galaxy.
