THE ASTRONOMER: CONTRIBUTIONS TO 2011 MAY ISSUE
Due to a malfunction of the main TA Desktop Computer on 2011 April 27 
involving the motherboard, normally the full backup on our second 
desktop can be used. By an extraordinary coincidence this second 
computer in the network suffered a hard disk failure a few days earlier. 
Currently both desktops, (each less then two years old!), are away being 
repaired so we apologise for any delay in answering e-mails.

It has been possible to continue a limited service using a laptop but 
this only has a restricted secondary backup. If you have submitted any 
observations, images or articles for the May issue could I please ask 
you to re-submit them as soon as possible and preferably before May 5 as 
although the hard disk on the TA computer may be recovered we may not 
have it back before the magazine deadline.
