THE ASTRONOMER 2011 ANNUAL MEETING
Further to E-Circular 2739 and recent issues of 'The Astronomer' 
magazine announcing that this year's annual meeting will be held on
October 8 in Basingstoke, I am pleased to confirm that booking for this 
event has now opened.

The provisional list of speakers and titles of talks are now on the home 
page of our website at:

http://www.theastronomer.org/

under 'Forthcoming Events'.

There is also a link to the booking form in PDF which will need printing 
and completion before despatch to the editor with your remittance. If 
you have any difficulty opening the form the editor can send a WORD 
version on request by e-mail.

Please note the admission charge is discounted for those booking early 
and by September 10. Also there is a special offer to those who have not 
previously been subscribers to receive the first 12 months issues of the 
magazine as a trial at the special price of £10. Although most receiving 
this circular are magazine subscribers please ask anyone accompanying 
you who is a non-subscriber and in the booking if they wish to take 
advantage of this special offer.

Finally if there is anyone who would wish to volunteer to video the 
meeting please contact the editor.
