No object is present on film taken on July 5.85UT down to 11.7pg. No catalogued variable stars are reported at or near this position. Rod Stubbings, Australia, e-mails to confirm the presence of the new object which, on 2011 Aug 8.375UT was estimated to be of magnitude 10.3v.
