POSSIBLE TRANSIENT IN SCORPIUS
Matthew Templeton, AAVSO, relays on their special notice 251 that
John Seach of Chatsworth Island, Australia has reported the detection of
a transient object in Scorpius on 2011 Sept 6.37UT at magnitude 9.8. The
object is located at:

        RA 16h 36m 43s Dec -41 32' 46" (2000)

The object was initially recorded with a DSLR and 50mm f1.2 lens on a 5
second exposure with the limiting magnitude being 10.5 and appears on
four subsequent frames. The object was not present on Sept 5.36UT.

We would welcome feedback from our TA observers suitable based to access
this field.
