The type-II supernova 2004dg also appeared in NGC 5806
L. Borsato: spectrum Jan 23 type-Ib/c soon after maximum.

Guy Hurst reports that photometry of this object obtained on 2012 Jan 
28.578UT using the Sierra Stars 0.61-m Cassegrain telescope gave 15.8V.
