The new object is located at: RA 12h 08m 24.46s DEC +62 56' 24.0" (2000), which is approximately 0.2"E and 6.3"S from the centre of the galaxy MCG +11-15-028 = PGC 38541. Nothing is present at this position on Tom's images from 2011 Feb 12 and Apr 10 (limiting mag 19.5) or on Digitised Sky Survey Plates from 1996 Dec 19 (limiting red mag 20.5), and 1995 Apr 25 (limiting blue mag 21.0).
