Denisenko, Moscow State University et. al., report on The Astronomer's Telegram 4208 their discovery of a new cataclysmic variable at magnitude 12.9 (limit 18.9) from MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection system on 2012 June 24.859UT. The OT source is located at: RA 21h 12m 58.65s DEC +24d 21m 45.4s (2000) The OT is seen in 3 images with the following automatic unfiltered magnitudes: 2012-06-24 20:03:36 UT 12.85 2012-06-24 20:37:29 UT 12.94 2012-06-24 21:12:04 UT 12.90 A MASTER-Kislovodsk reference image of 2010 Oct 26 (17:55:44UT) does not show the new object to a limit of 19.3. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/MASTER211258.65+242145.4.jpg The object is present in USNO-B catalog as USNO-B1.0 1143-0518038 (RA=21 12 58.724 Dec=+24 21 45.58, B1=19.73 R1=20.03; B2=20.78 R2=20.39. It is also in GALEX UV catalogue as GALEX J211258.7+242145 (FUV=19.91+/-0.12 NUV=20.06+/-0.07). There is nothing at this position in 2MASS, GCVS and AAVSO VSX. Based on the blue colour and outburst amplitude (about 7 mag) we conclude that MASTER OT J211258.65+242145.4 is a dwarf nova of U Gem type, likely of UGWZ subtype. 10'x10' colour-combined (BRIR) DSS finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J211258.65+242145.4-BRIR10x10.jpg SUPERNOVA 2012ch (CSS) 2012ch May 17.38 15 06 02.54 +41 25 32.7 16.4 1.0"W 2.1"S G.
