The object was also recorded on several subsequent images to a limiting unfiltered magnitude of 19.2. Precise position: RA 22h 41m 51.83s DEC +34° 58' 07.4" (2000) Offsets from galaxy: 3" E 4" N The object was not visible on the Digitised Sky Survey POSS II Blue plate 1989 Sept 8 or the POSS II Red plate 1988 July 11 or listed on CBAT's Minor Planet Checker. On the CBAT " Transient Follow-up Reports" web page R A Koff, Antelope Hills Observatory, Bennett, Colorado USA reports that on 2012 Nov 16.0476UT the object, now given the provisional designation PSN J22415183+3458074 was recorded at: RA 22 41 51.81 DEC +34 58 06.8 (UCAC3). Magnitude 16.7 U +/- 0.2 . Limiting magnitude 20.0 . Sum of 8 x 240-sec images. Nothing seen on DSS other than galaxy background.
