NUMBERING OF PERIODIC COMETS 272P-275P
Gareth Williams, Minor Planet Centre, reports on M.P.E.C. 2012-Y43
the following new numbering of a periodic comet was announced on Minor 
Planet Circular 81081 (2012 Nov. 28):

  272P/2004 F1 = 2012 V3 (NEAT)

The following new numberings of periodic comets were also announced on 
Minor Planet Circular 81570 (2012 Dec. 28):

  273P/1827 M1 = 2012 V4 (Pons-Gambart)
  274P/2012 WX32 = 1931 AN = 2003 WZ141 (Tombaugh-Tenagra)
  275P/1999 D1 = 2012 Y2 (Hermann)

Pavel Balanutsa, Sternberg Astronomical Institute, reports the apparent 
supernova (mag 18.0) on seven unfiltered images (limiting mag 19.7) 
taken on Nov. 12.969 UT with the MASTER-Kislovodsk auto-detection 
system.

A spectrogram, obtained on Nov. 29 with the 9.2-m Hobby-Eberly Telescope 
shows it is a type-Ia supernova about one month after maximum brightness
