This blazar situated in Ursa Major has been the subject of a BBC News 
Item of 2013 April 16 describing it as a 'cosmic flare-up'.

John Toone commented that after tracking it for 33 years its brightest 
optical phase was in the range 11.9-12.1 in 2012 August. He has a range 
for 2013 April 12.1-12.3 in a BAAVSS Bulletin. Guy Hurst reports a 
visual magnitude of 12.2 for 2013 April 18.
