PLUTO OCCULTS 1B 699-646427, 2013 Aug 22 2101UT
Tim Haymes has asked us to circulate this appeal relating to a predicted
occultation by Pluto:
A prediction update is available which indicated no significant track
shift. Observers who can carry out differential photometry of Pluto to
detect 0.1 mag. or have sensitive video are requested to monitor Pluto for
occultation phenomena from 10min on either side of the predicted time to get
a good baseline.

Pluto:  Altitude  18; Azimuth  185; Maximum duration 3-min
Pluto is magnitude 14 and a 0.1mag variation (drop) would indicate an
occultation.
The UK is south of the centre line and could be presented with a 2- min
event.
