The object is located at: RA 16h16m18s.16 DEC +64o 06' 06.3" (2000), approximately 2".0 east and 2".7 south of the center of the galaxy UGC 10318. Nothing is present at this position on Tom's images of 2013 July 17 and May 02 (limiting mag 19.5) or on the Digitised Sky Survey Plates of 1991 May 31 (limiting red mag 20.5), and 1988 March 24 (limiting blue mag 21.0). Giancula Masi recorded the new object on 2014 May 05.862UT remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 corrected Dall-Kirkham robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 18.0 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). Astrometry, yielded end figures: 18.19; 04.5 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes). News of a spectral confirmation and designation by the Central Bureau is awaited. Guy M Hurst
