The OT unfiltered magnitude is 16.6m (limit 19.3m). The OT is seen in 3 images. There is no minor planet at this place. A reference image was recorded without the OT on 2011 Dec 22.720UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 20.3m. The object has shown a quick fading on the first triplet of images (180-sec exposures): 22:19:15 UT, 15.96m; 22:22:51 UT, 16.62m; 22:26:26 UT, 17.23m. It has faded below 19.3m on the second triplet of images obtained 1.25 hr later, at 23:34:17-23:41:20 UT. The OT at quiescence is identical to the red star SDSS J012916.48+321858.8 (g=22.59 r=21.26 i=19.54 z=18.47) = WISE J012916.48+321858.8. The object is not present in 2MASS, GCVS and AAVSO VSX. Based on the red colour and short flare duration, MASTER OT J012916.47+321859.0 is a new variable of UV Ceti type (flaring red dwarf). Follow up observations are encouraged.
