Morokuma, Institute of Astronomy, University of Tokyo; N. Tominaga et. al., National Astronomical Observatory of Japan -- on behalf of the KISS collaboration -- report the discovery of a new transient object (mag 16.6) on a g-band CCD image (limiting mag 19.9) taken on 2014 Oct. 27.72UT with the Kiso Wide Field Camera on the 1.05-m Schmidt telescope at the Kiso Observatory. The new object is located at: RA 07h 55m 40.62s DEC +26 46' 18.4" (2000), coinciding with a blue object in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS J075540.64+264618.6). T. Nakaoka et. al, Hiroshima University; and M. Yamanaka, Konan University -- on behalf of the KISS collaboration -- report that they obtained a low-resolution optical spectrum on Oct. 28.8UT with the 1.5-m Kanata telescope which shows a blue continuum and prominent emission lines in Balmer series. The FWHM and equivalent widths of the H-alpha, H-beta, and H-gamma emission lines are about 1500 km/s and 4.8 nm, 2100 km/s and 5.8 nm, and 1600 km/s and 3.3 nm, respectively. Other emission lines of He II 468.6-nm, and He I 667.8-, 587.6-, and 447.1-nm, are also confirmed. These suggest that the object would be classified as a dwarf nova. SUPERNOVA 2014ct IN PGC 28871 (S.
