J18354527+5129564: POSSIBLE SUPERNOVA
Ron Arbour, South Wonston, England reports the discovery of an apparent
supernova of magnitude 17.8V in the galaxy PGC2395135 on an unfiltered CCD
image taken on 2015 Sep 17.894UT during searches for the UK Nova/Supernova
Patrol. The discovery was with a 0.35-m f/6 Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope and
SXVF H9 CCD camera. It was also recorded on several subsequent images to a
limiting unfiltered magnitude of ~19.0.
Precise position:  RA 18h 35m 45.27s DEC +51° 29' 56.4" (2000)
Offsets from galaxy:   1" E   6" S

The object was not visible on the Digitised Sky Survey POSS II Blue plate
(1990-06-26) nor the POSS II Red plate (1991-08-07).

Subsequently a pre discovery image of PSN J18354527+512956 has been found by
Ron showing the object at virtually the same brightness of 17.9 on an
unfiltered image of 2015 09 07.966UT with end figures 45.25s and 56.7".
