The discovery was with a 0.35-m f/6 Schmidt Cassegrain Telescope and SXVF H9 CCD camera. It was also recorded on several subsequent images to a limiting unfiltered magnitude of ~19.0. Precise position: RA 18h 35m 45.27s DEC +51° 29' 56.4" (2000) Offsets from galaxy: 1" E 6" S The object was not visible on the Digitised Sky Survey POSS II Blue plate (1990-06-26) nor the POSS II Red plate (1991-08-07). Subsequently a pre discovery image of PSN J18354527+512956 has been found by Ron showing the object at virtually the same brightness of 17.9 on an unfiltered image of 2015 09 07.966UT with end figures 45.25s and 56.7".
