Further observations by John and by other observers showed AG Peg continued to rise in brightness, as was shown in the accompanying light curve of that issue. Observations from early July were suggesting, however, that the outburst peaked at around mag 7.1-7.2. According to the AAVSO this outburst was the first recorded since 1860-1870! After a fade John Toone has again reported a brightening: 2015 Oct 7, 8.0 (2104UT), Oct 9, 7.6 (2037UT). Confirmation: Oct 09.92, 7.6 (Gary Poyner, 10x50B); Oct 10.003, 7.6 (Poyner); 12.870, 7.7 (Guy Hurst, 15x80B); 13.928, 7.9 (Hurst) A chart, under reference 094.02, can be found on the BAAVSS webpage.
