Both stars are suspected variables as follows: Beta UMa = NSV 05053 2.35-2.40V SpA Gamma UMa = NSV 05379 2.41-2.45V SpA Further observations are required. NSV 01098 A recent report shows this star to have faded to around magnitude 12 suggesting its range is at least 2.5 magnitudes (cf E282). The sequence has been extended to 12.5 and the revised chart is available on e-mail request. WX CETI Latest results from Andrew Pearce show this star to have faded to mag 13.3 by June 19.89UT.
